Every year hundreds of people choose Atlantic Pro Divers for their diver training.  We like to think that it is because we are all such darn nice folks but we suspect that it has more to do with our dedication to making scuba training safe and fun that keeps people coming back.

Using programs sanctioned by the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), an organization committed to diving excellence through education and one of the most respected diver certification agencies in the world, Atlantic Pro Divers offers a range of options for diver training designed to meet almost any schedule.

Weekend Course ($325)

Starts every other Friday night. This convenient schedule allows you to complete training in just two weekends.
Friday 6:30pm - 9.30 pm (class)
Saturday 9:30am - 4:30pm (class and pool)
Sunday 9:30am - 4:30pm (class and pool)

All class and pool practice is completed in the first weekend at diver training center on Beach Blvd.

The following weekend is spent completing the open water fun dives.
Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm (Springs)
Sunday 9:00am - 2:00pm (Springs)

Weeknight Course ($325)

Starts every 4 weeks. This program meets Monday and Wednesday evenings for three weeks followed by a weekend of fun dives.

Monday 5:30pm - 9.30 pm (class)
Wednesday 5:30pm - 9.30 pm (Pool)

The final weekend is spent completing the open water fun dives.

Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm (Springs)
Sunday 9:00am - 2:00pm (Springs)

Prerequisites

To attend our courses you need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim several lengths of a pool using any stroke. You will need to complete a home study course that includes a DVD movie with a study guide. You also need to have personal snorkeling equipment SUITABLE FOR SCUBA. This includes your own mask, fins, snorkel, booties, weight belt and weights, and a div log.

Other Training Programs

If scheduling is a problem, consider the flexibility of a semi private or private program:

Semi Private ($425)

Have at least one friend that wants to learn to dive with you? Want the convenience of setting your own schedule and learning to dive without attending a formal class? Like the idea of getting a private class at less than a private class price? Semi private classes offer all this and more. You and your friends coordinate with a private instructor to arrange review and training times that suit your schedule. Learn in your own home or in our classroom. Practice in your pool or ours - it is all up to you.

Private Lessons($550)

Train one on one with an experienced and highly qualified instructor who will introduce you diving at whatever pace and according to any schedule that suits you. If you have access to a suitable swimming pool your instructor is available to come to your home to do course work and skills practice. Take your pick of several locations for your open water dives or use our referral program and do your certification dives while away on your vacation

Referral Program

Complete the self study portion and pool practice sessions prior to your next scheduled vacation. We can provide you with a referral to complete your course at the resort or location of your choice.
